What to do on a Snow Day

I woke up this morning and we had less than 1 inch on the ground.  Much to my surprise, I found out that we were having a SNOW DAY at work.  The first thing that crossed my mind was, "Now I can shop and scrapbook"!  The shopping thing didn't work out so well.  I realized the trip out could be an adventure when I almost got stuck backing out of my driveway.  I figured the main roads would be clear, but boy was I wrong!  In about a mile I decided I would be lucky if I made it back home.  Which I did, without getting stuck (I only had to back down one hill because I couldn't make it up it)!  I decided  it was safer to work with the stash I have at home.

I made this tag for the "Let's Make A Vintage/Distressed or Retro Tag* Challenge" over on Scrapbook.com.  The challenge was to make a vintage/distressed or retro tag.  Plus, you get extra votes if you use lace.  I just started pulling scraps of paper out of my scrap box and came up with this!  The Image came from freevintageimages.com.  I printed it on velum and adhered it to the paper using Diamond Glaze.

Now I'm going to try to convince my husband that he should take me out shopping in his 4WD truck.  Wish me luck!
